St. James Conservation Trust

This is the first of two videos for the Trust, this one being a longer and more comprehensive overview. It will be used events as well as on the home page of their website.

It will also be used to educate developers and architects seeking planning permission for projects in St James's Square.

A second, shorter video (produced from the same shoot) concentrates on the achievements of the Trust ending with a direct appeal for support.

The Leyland School Fire

The story of how one school rose up out of the ashes of a catastrophic fire to become a model school.

It was the disaster itself that led to the discovery of PTA UK through a Google search by school officials as it became evident that people wanted to help and had started up various different ad hoc groups.

Finally the formation of a single PTA brought all efforts together into an effective, organised and legally protected group.

PTA UK Case Study

Case Studies are a way to inform a prospective client with greater detail than a short promo video.

This is another in a series of different types of videos produced for PTA UK and is the third case study.

Here is a school that went from being one of the worst schools in England to one of the best. It couldn't have been done without the parents working hand-in-hand with the Head Teacher and her staff, a point which is made very clear in this story told by the Head Teacher for Stanton Bridge Primary School.

Belvoir Castle Cricket Trust

Belvoir Castle Cricket Trust

Part of a larger project not yet completed, this short promo was assembled from on-going project footage to be shown at the Marleybone Cricket Club dinner held at Belvoir Castle in support of the Belvoir Castle Cricket Trust

This is a good example of how multiple video properties for different purposes can be produced from the same project, the primary commission being for a narrative driven fundraising video about the Belvoir Castle Cricket Trust

Jennie's Journey

Fundraising for Cancer Charity

"Jennie's Journey" is an example of a motivational video to help those searching for information on cancer. It's an upbeat story from a cancer survivor who shares some valuable knowledge and advice.

The video was produced for a cancer charity fundraising event.

No matter the cause, videos are an ideal tool for fundraising. Not only do can they get the message across succinctly and with emotional impact, they also work for you 24 hours a day across all time zones of earth.

Locke High School Project

The Locke High School Project

This video was produced as part of a Crowd Funding campaign. This version of the edit was used for presentation to a small group of potential donors capable of funding projects over $1,000,000.

A second version is planned taking up a smaller portion of what is covered in the video for use on a global crowd funding site.

Fundraising and Non-profit Videos

Fundraising has been around for a very long time. With the advent and growth of the internet it became possible to reach thousands, if not millions of people through social and business networks. The idea is that many people contributing small amounts to a cause can together achieve fundraising objectives, no matter how big. This became known as “crowd funding”.

Crowd funding sites such as Indiegogo and Kickstarter have raised tens of millions for thousands of individuals and organisations, including non-profit, globally through the power of on-line social networks.

In any case, it is the production and distribution of a fundraising video through crowd funding that drives the success of any fundraising campaign using these sites.

Even in more traditional fund raising models, such as a dinner or event, a well crafted, succinct video presentation will be more impactful and memorable than most speeches or Powerpoint presentations. They also have a longer life.

Fundraising videos have multiple uses:

  • Formal crowd funding site campaign
  • Presentations at large events
  • Sent to potential donors via email links
  • Shared on a multitude of social and business networks
  • Can reside on multiple video platforms (such as YouTube, Vimeo, Daily Motion, etc.)

Unlike a one-time speech, fundraising videos can will work for you 24 hours a day and can be seen and shared by many others for years to come.

Ask us to produce a fundraising video for you that will have a high emotional impact likely to attract donations.
